Our Certified Nursing Assistant and Geriatric Nursing Assistant certification program at Health Focus, Inc. then prepares our students to acquire the necessary skills for them to land jobs as either a Certified Nursing Assistant, caregiver, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Attendant, Personal Care Assistant or companion care provider in senior care facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living communities, hospitals, clinics and private residences. Our Nursing Assistant Training program meets federal and state training requirements of certified nursing assistants and geriatric nursing assistants in the state of Maryland. The program is 114.5 clock hours (including 48 clock hours of lecture/theory, 24 clock hours of lab/ practice, and 42.05 clock hours of clinical experience).
